As each person’s mouth is different and as each piece of dentistry is unique to that person we can only give estimates of costs as a guide, for more information please call the practice.
As a single handed practitioner Stuart does all his own hygiene work.
CHILD AND YOUNG PERSON’S FEES:
Children , whose parents/guardians visit the practice regularly (at least once a year), are offered a discounted rate as follows:
Under 5’s Examination – Free of Charge
Under 10’s Examination – £9.50
Under 15’s Examination – £17.50
Under 18’s Examination – £23.00
Treatment costs vary, an example of costs includes Duraphat Varnish treatment for children from £33.00 for a 15 minute appointment and £88 for a 40 minute Extraction, Filling or Orthodontic appointment. We realise that the transition from child to adult is not necessarily straight forward and are therefore pleased to offer a Young Persons Continuing Care Discount off all adult prices for any treatment needed. We have a small selection of books, toys and colouring to keep the younger children occupied. For the more reluctant visitor, Dumbledalf, Stuart’s puppet, could be persuaded to help in the surgery.
Payment and Consent Policies:
Payment is requested at the end of each visit by cash or card payment. For treatment that takes two or more visits we ask for part payment at each appointment. Estimates are valid for six months from the date of the letter. Fees are estimated and may change during the course of the treatment; fees will be no more than £65 more than the original estimate unless otherwise stated. You are responsible for all fees. In the event that payment is not received you will be invoiced for all costs, including, but not limited to, reasonable agency/solicitor fees.
It is part of practice policy to gain consent for all treatment, if you are unsure of what has been recommended or have any questions prior to consent please do say and we will try to help you in any way we can.
